On the northern side of the Split Piazza is the renovated Old City Hall, the last remnant of the one-time great project for the new city centre from the early 15th century. The logo for the Old City Hall (Stara gradska vijećnica) was created from an architectural element that can be found on the facade of the building. This floral pattern is integrated into the font itself to emphasize the gothic style (gotico fiorito) to which this building belongs. Due to its utilitarian nature, the signage has a more simple and clean look in order to better fit the interior design and be unobtrusive compared to content of exhibitions and other future events at Old City Hall.
