In developing the visual identity for the 23/24 season of the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) in Split, we aimed to break away from conventional theater identity approaches. The primary goal was to achieve diversity in motifs, techniques, and compositions, with each play having its unique identity. Identity determinants are not strictly applied. The identity is carried by a font enhanced with handwritten letters, the season logo, and reflective surfaces in the visual compositions. These reflective elements, hand-applied by the author, are taken from the season's posters, symbolizing the theater as a reflection of the city in which it operates.
