The Ethnographic Museum Split is one of the city's oldest museums. Traditionally, ethnographic museums dealt with the mere collection of objects and their presentation and exhibition. In the last few decades, the science of ethnography has turned to people as the bearer of customs, the priority is the context of people in time, and the object is only a part of telling the story. The Ethnographic Museum Split needed this kind of twist in its identity. We created a modular logo that is a metaphor for the changeability of folk and their habits in the context of time. The identity colors are taken from the traditional costumes of the Dalmatian region because it is this region that is associated with most of the museum setup.
